My Creative Showcase

I've written a lot of things for a number of clients over the last three decades. I've won some awards, yes, but what really mattered was what the clients thought and how well my copy did its job for them.

Of course, I'd love to put most of my pieces on display – but there are a couple of reasons why I'm going with a relative few.

First, I just don't have the final creatives that feature my copy. They're useful, because their layout can show why I wrote what I wrote (like ad headlines that paired with images for a persuasive message).

And why don't I have them? Well, for years, I had no motive to collect the PDFs, image files and other distributable forms. I guess I just wasn't thinking "Portfolio."

And second, even if I had them all, some just wouldn't pass my smell test today. Maybe it was the subject matter, or my approach, or the designer's dumpster fire, or inexplicable client edits. Regardless, a dud is a dud, yes?

Hopefully, the writing samples I do have here may just prompt you to reach out.

But whether you do or don't, thanks for visiting!
